But what "leadership" are you referring to, and how have they failed? Are you arguing for a return to the days of party bosses who anointed candidates?

Nope. I'm referring to the fact that the Party must move beyond Clinton, beyond Gore.

Let's face facts, the overwhelming reason that there has been some annointing of HRC is her warchest, and her ability to raise money. Let's also acknowledge that she has been able to raise money in part because of sentiment agains Bush. Isn't that a short-sighted reason to run someone? She will not, cannnot win.

Shouldn't you break this comment down into assumptions and conclusions, then include it in your argument? An argument is more than a conclusion. I'm trying to like this site, but it doesn't seem like the argument is outlined.
