Node Text: Many elite presidents have supported the middle class

But McCain has no such record in the senate.
FDR built the middle class. JFK supported the middle class through his policies. Both were from priveleged backgrounds but understood the importance of a middle class for the economic health of the country.
McCain gives the middle class lip service but votes against the very things that built the middle class in the first place - unions, and decent wages for working people.
