Node Text: High unfavorability ratings

Her unfavorability ratings typically poll in the range of 35% - 45%. Though to a certain extent inextricable from her husband, the former president's own unfavorability rating, this number is largely her own, based mostly on her performance as first lady, but also on people's conception of gender roles.

Assuming a Republican opponent with a much lower unfavorability rating, this leaves her needing to fight for a larger percentage of unaffiliated, centrist voters than Democrats typically carry in elections.
