Argument: Argument thesis  Humans are not the endpoint of evolution
Node type: Node supports parent assertion  This node supports its parent
Parent Node: Node refutes parent assertion  The thesis is trivialy true.
Node Text: Emprical evidance does not show that H. sapiens are uniquely complex.

The evolution of life on Earth has increased in complexity from single-celled organisms up through homo sapiens - modern humans.

complexity There is no empirical measure of complexity which can substantiate this claim.

Further more, evolution has no bias towards complexity, so that if complexity could be measured, it seems plausible that the mean complexity of life has been stationary for several billion years.
