Node Text: Libertarians aren't strictly conservative

Libertarians are described as fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

As such, while Libertarians have historically sided with conservatives to vote for Republicans, and against Democrats, they can't strictly be called conservatives or liberals.

Furthermore, there is, in fact, evidence that Libertarians are leaving the Republican party due to the dominance of religious conservatives over the Republican party.
