Move Argument Nodes

Did you ever create an Argument node under the wrong parent? Or realize that your Argument would flow better with a different structure? Now you can move nodes around within the Argument.

When clicking through an Argument Node box to the extended description, there is now a "Move Node" option in addition to the Add/Edit/Delete Node options. This allows you to move that Node (along with all its children) to a new parent node within the Argument.

The process flow is as follows:

  1. Click through the node you wish to move
  2. Click the "Move node" link
  3. You will again be presented with the Argument diagram. Click the new parent node to move your node to within the diagram
  4. Confirm (or cancel) your decision to move the node

You will then be returned to the restructured Argument diagram.

This feature is available for both Pending Arguments as well as those in General Discussion.
